Meet the Rhymers

Terry and Cindy Rhymer

Terry was born in Morrison , IL and raised in Dade City, FL
indy was born in St Petersburg, FL and raised on Madeira Beach and in St. Petersburg.

We met while both in the US Air Force in Colorado Springs, CO.
We were married in Colorado Springs, November 5, 1966.

We lived in Thailand for the first two years, then Florida, then Longmont, Colorado for 35 years.
This is where we raised two children before retiring from our jobs there
and moving to Mountain Home in October of 2006 with our two doggies.

Our daughter has given us a granddaughter (some of  you met Kathy & Corrie at the last meeting and/or at Chrome Day),
and our son and daughter-in-law have given us a grandson – so far!  (Hopefully you will meet them in July).

Terry is still retired, Cindy is an Administrative Assistant at Good Samaritan Society and is looking forward to be old enough to retire!!!

Our first motorcycle was a Honda 305 Super Hawk in Bangkok, Thailand.
Our first Goldwing was a 1982, then came a 1984 Aspencade that we kept for 19 years.
We rode that bike to the Oregon coast, Virginia, San Diego and a lot of areas in the western states.
Our current motorcycle is a 2002 Goldwing that we have had for five years.

We were Charter members of a GWRRA and a GWTA club in Colorado.
We learned about Chapter P via the internet and just showed up at a meeting in October, 2006, and keep showing up for your events.

We’re lovin’ and learnin’ everyday about our new world here in Arkansas.
We’ve learned that ya’ll have really cold winters (with lots of ice) and incredibly hot summers.
We’ve bought shirts to make us look like you, shirts to keep us warm, and vests to keep us cool,
and then there is all the in-between stuff that we already had and are learning when to wear what.

We’ve learned that ya’ll eat out a lot and that’s a good thing.  We enjoy all the “food” meetings and outings!
We are looking forward to a “Spring and Summer Time” of  rides this year.

Our two best buddies that keep us busy and entertained!!!!

Mitzi (Black Lab mix) and Bess (English Setter/Border Collie mix).
